Just got back from a fantastic weekend in Provence - my kids had offered me a few hours behind the wheel of my dream car - the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. So here she is...

My g/f wasn't allowed close enough to the right (well, left) side of the car to take a 'wrist shot' !!

Driving the Audi home just didn't get the adrenalin coursing thru my veins as much as this beasty - might have to stop collecting watches...

Very nice...am quite jealous!

You do know that AM's v8's have had some pretty spectacular depreciation recently...could pick up a mint second hand one for about half price....

Still expensive I know but not totally out of reach!!

Not totally out of reach?!! Well, if I sold all my watches perhaps... ;)

(The only similarity with my car and an Aston V8 are the 18inch rims...but I can dream can't I?)

maybe that didn't come across right. What I meant was that they aren't as pricey as people think. And don't worry, the AM is still way out of reach for me even if I sell all my watches, clothes, girlfriend...

Nice G! I just ordered a GLK for my daily commuter. Needed something a little better on gas.. even then the GLK pretty much sucks for gas. Crossover my ass. My parents have an SL 500.. its velly nice... they got it the first year it came out.. and now after 5-6 years its starting to need some fixes here and there.
