I recently purchased this watch via auction and is currently en route. This is my first Panerai purchase, so I was excited. But then I began to run into these forums and saw how often Panerais are replicated and started to worry. The seller assures me that he had the watch checked out at a Panerai AD. The box, papers and screwdriver seem to be after-market, but the watch itself looks pretty good from what I can tell, but I'm no expert. Could anyone help me out?

Seems OK. Nothing jumps out at me. Also, it looks worn, which many fakes do not exhibit.

So sorry for you! Can you get your money back? That watch looks nice but at least the swan neck regulation is not authentic. Although it´s nice to see that the screw is Long enough (not allways the case with replicas) it lacks the 2 holes through the screw head (in 90° angle)which are needed to use the regulator screw without taking the movement out. Furthermore the swan neck spring lacks the neccessary Tension/power to do ist Job as it´s made from some chrome or nickel plated yellow metal like brass. Last obvious sign is that it should have a radius towards the Incabloc shock protection.

It´s quite obvious that it´s one of the most recent high quality replicas.
